Breaking: Proposed Changes To VA Disability Rating Schedules

breaking news

Special Announcement: On February 15, 2022, the VA publicly announced proposed updates to the disability rating schedules for the respiratory system; ear, nose and throat conditions, and auditory disorders; and mental disorders.

Since these are proposed changes, they will not affect evaluations of any Veteran currently receiving compensation for an impacted disability.

Instead, this is an opportunity for Veterans and the public to comment on these proposed changes over the next 60 days. After that, the VA will consider the comments received and address them in a subsequent final rule which may make these changes effective.

We can assure you that the staff at Veterans Guardian is reviewing the proposal and will be fierce advocates pertaining to any changes that could negatively affect you. At this time, no action is required on your part, unless you would like to comment on the changes. You can find the information here.

Thank you for your continued trust and confidence in Veterans Guardian.
