There are several different ways to request your DD214, the simplest being to sign into milConnect.

How else can I obtain my DD214?

Mail or fax a Request Pertaining to Military Records (Standard Form SF 180) to the National Personnel Records Center.

Benefit Summary Letter

There are two main ways of obtaining your Benefits Summary Letter, Call the VA or go online to eBenefits.

eBenefits Option:

Navigate to https://www.ebenefits.va.gov/ebenefits/homepage Click the blue “Log In” button in the top right corner of the page. Scroll down, and check the consent checkbox. This allows you to log in either with a DS or a CAC.
