Veterans Guardian Takes No-Layoff Pledge 2020

no-layoff Pledge

PINEHURST, NC, May 29 – Veterans Guardian VA Claim Consulting announces a commitment to a no lay-off pledge, protecting the jobs of its workforce despite economic uncertainty amidst the COVID-19 crisis.

The company has also continued to hire and onboard new employees throughout the COVID‑19 pandemic. Veterans Guardian Founder and CEO Scott Greenblatt, a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, said the company will continue to hire for new roles throughout 2020.

“We want our employees focused on supporting our Veteran Clients, not worried about their own jobs,” said Greenblatt. “We are committed to no layoffs for 2020. We are continuing to hire and continuing to support our employees and our community.”

Veterans Guardian is one of the largest employers of Veterans and Military spouses in Moore County, employing over 100 staff members. “We have made a firm commitment to not only hire more veterans and veteran spouses but to provide support and resources to our Veteran employees and their families to enable them to thrive professionally and personally.”

Due to the nature of the business, Veterans Guardian was able to quickly pivot to telework at the beginning of the crisis. “Our Veteran clients depend on us to help them get their VA benefits – perhaps now more than ever. We are taking extraordinary measures to provide world-class service to those who have given so much.”

Veterans Guardian works with Veterans around the world to help them get all the VA Disability benefits they are legally, morally, and ethically eligible to receive as a result of their honorable service. Each step of the process can be done online. Local clients are able to visit the headquarters location in Pinehurst, off of NC 5. For the protection of staff and clients, the company has taken several safety precautions such as increased cleaning, employee temperature checks, and limiting the number of personnel in the building.

In addition to their hiring practices, Veterans Guardian is dedicated to honoring U.S.Military Veterans and their families through a variety of community outreach initiatives and sustained financial support of veteran and community charities, scholarship funds, and organizations.

Greenblatt said that Veterans Guardian continues to provide monthly, sustainable donations to several organizations and has added to the growing list of organizations they support. Company leadership is grateful to be in this position and will focus on keeping the company strong throughout the crisis.
